Job summary

Optimum is seeking an SQE I Automation Engineer to accelerate mobile product testing for iOS and Android. You will develop automated test scripts, integrate with CI/CD pipelines, and help achieve high coverage across broadband, video, and support tools.

You’ll work with live production systems, contribute to documentation, and help establish quality metrics while partnering with senior engineers to drive reliable software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, automation, and tools with at least 1 year in mobile automation.
• Proficiency in Python or Java, experience beyond basic frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Automate end-to-end testing across mobile products (iOS and Android) to ~80% coverage across broadband, video, and support tools.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks (Java or Python).
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and improve testing practices.
• Implement API testing capabilities and monitor key quality metrics (defect rates, coverage, execution progress).
