Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a QE Test Automation Engineer – Mobile & Web Automation to design and implement scalable automation solutions for mobile and web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality digital experiences.

The role emphasizes building robust automation frameworks, executing automated tests for iOS using Swift and XCUITest, and integrating with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software development, software testing, or quality engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Java and TypeScript programming for automation development.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright and Selenium.
• Strong experience in iOS mobile application testing, including automation with Swift and XCUITest.
• Proven expertise in test automation scripting, debugging, functional testing, and integration testing.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and software testing best practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate risks, issues, and recommendations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and mobile apps using Playwright and Selenium.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for iOS apps using Swift and XCUITest.
• Collaborate with development and architecture teams to improve testability and quality practices.
• Perform functional, integration, and automation testing and identify quality risks and mitigations.
• Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps by integrating tests with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
