Zusammenfassung

Greater Mental Health of New York seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver mobile, hybrid services for Youth ACT clients in Westchester and Rockland counties. You will conduct psychiatric assessments, prescribe medications, and provide therapy and family education.

Travel to home, office, or community settings is required. Licensure in NYS is mandatory, with credentialing for DEA and fingerprinting as part of the role.

Qualifikationen

• Must be currently licensed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner by the NYS Education Department.
• Must maintain licensure in good standing and DMV/driving requirements as applicable.

Aufgaben

• Act as prescriber for all Youth ACT clients.
• Conduct psychiatric assessments via telehealth, in-office, or home visits.
• Collaborate with the team for physical health assessments and referrals.
• Prescribe psychotropic medications and monitor responses and side effects.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy and education.
• Adhere to all regulatory standards and maintain recovery-oriented care.
• Support families with education and counseling to understand mental illness.
