New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center in the Bronx, NY, is seeking a warm and empathetic Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a full-time, hybrid position with a flexible schedule.

As part of a multidisciplinary treatment team, you will perform evaluations, provide ongoing medication management, order tests, and coordinate care with psychiatrists and other professionals. NYPCC offers competitive salary, benefits, and professional development opportunities.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited NP program (required).
• Licensed in NYS as a psychiatric NP.
• DEA license to prescribe medication.

Responsabilidades

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management.
• Prescribe or recommend medications and other treatments.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess care needs.
• Coordinate with psychiatrists and other professionals for integrated care.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
• May cover other sites if necessary.
