The Dallas YMCA is currently seeking a Mobile Program Director for our Childcare team.

Job Description

Be a part of something great and help provide a safe space for kids to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships, and build self-reliance.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas seeks an outstanding candidate to serve as a Mobile Program Director in our Childcare Division. The role involves supporting the School Age Services Team by implementing and delivering quality programming for afterschool and day camp sites. Territory assignments may change based on branch needs.

The Mobile Program Director will have an office at the Coppell YMCA. Responsibilities include policy adherence, licensing, hiring, communication with parents, participants, and schools, and budget management. The Director will act as interim Program Director when needed, supporting staff, maintaining communication, and nurturing relationships.

The candidate will promote YMCA values—caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility—support children's mental and physical well-being, and ensure quality standards and licensing compliance. They will assist with staff hiring, supervision, training, curriculum development, and other tasks as assigned. The role includes supporting the YMCA’s Annual Campaign.

The position involves networking to increase program visibility and community engagement, ensuring high satisfaction among parents and schools, and positive outcomes for children. The Director will collaborate with leadership to improve programs and participate in fundraising efforts.

Work hours are Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6:30pm, with some Saturdays for events and trainings.
