Job summary

Ring's App Platform team seeks a mobile platform engineer to build and maintain native iOS and Android components used by dozens of feature teams. You will write high-quality code with a focus on performance, reliability, and good test coverage, while leveraging AI-assisted development tools across the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with backend, product, and UX partners to deliver cohesive experiences and help evolve Ring's mobile architecture at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of complete software development lifecycle.
• 3+ years building mobile applications.
• 3+ years native iOS/Android or React Native production experience.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks and concurrency patterns.
• Strong understanding of mobile fundamentals and testing.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain native iOS and/or Android platform components used by Ring.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code with performance and reliability in mind.
• Use AI-powered development tools for code generation, testing, reviews, and debugging.
• Contribute to evolution of Ring's mobile architecture and reduce friction points.
• Help maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing infrastructure for mobile.
• Collaborate with feature teams to ensure platform components are easy to adopt.
