Job summary

Core Physical Therapy Services PC in New York seeks committed Physical Therapists, PTAs and Occupational Therapists/COTAs to partner with patients on restoring motion and maximizing personal best. You will maximize quality of life and movement potential across promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation, while traveling to patients' locations.

Positions available as full-time, part-time or contract, with pay between $50.00 and $75.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a physical therapist or occupational therapist.
• Graduate degree or higher in PT/OT.
• Valid PT/OT license.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work with patients of diverse personalities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
• Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve mobility
• Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
• Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
• Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
• Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
• Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
• Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
• Consult and practice with other health professionals
• Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
• Document patient care services
