Clinical Investigation Specialists, Inc. seeks a Part-time Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist Technician to support two clinics with patient interface and lab duties. Travel between Orland Park and Schaumburg locations is required. Certification and clinical experience are preferred, with proficiency in Excel and Word.

The role involves phlebotomy, specimen handling, and collaboration with Coordinators and Investigators within a clinical trial setting. Work is in person at multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification and/or experience in clinical setting is preferred.
• Computer skills such as Excel, Microsoft Word is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Process blood work including centrifuging, packaging and shipping specimens.
• Follow up on lab reports / troubleshooting lab delays.
• CLIA waived lab testing including UA, pregnancy testing and A1c.
• Handle incoming lab shipments, organize and maintains lab and exam rooms.
• Inventory all necessary equipment and supplies.
• Assist Coordinators & Investigators with organizing charts, file lab reports.
• Attend clinical study initiation visits and staff meetings as requested by management.
