Job summary

Madison Core Laboratories is seeking an experienced Mobile Phlebotomist to perform safe and accurate blood collection across multiple service locations. The role requires travel and a flexible schedule, with shifts typically spanning early to late daytime hours.

The candidate should have strong communication, organization, and patient-service skills, plus a minimum of 3 years phlebotomy experience; certification is preferred and a clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently collect blood and other specimen samples based on facility and patient needs.
• Verify patient identity and personal information using appropriate identification and/or medical records.
• Ensure the quality and appropriate quantity of all collected specimens.
• Properly label, handle, prepare, and transport specimens for laboratory testing.
• Respond professionally to patient questions and provide appropriate information regarding collection procedures.
• Adhere to all applicable health, safety, infection-control, and laboratory standards while working at facilities and traveling between locations.
