Job summary

Getlabs is the leading platform for at-home diagnostics. We send mobile phlebotomists to patients’ homes to collect labs, vitals, and diagnostics, enabling same-day nationwide availability.

This PRN Mobile Phlebotomist role focuses on delivering a patient-first experience in a high-growth startup environment. The position requires phlebotomy certification and at least one year of experience, with bonus points for Spanish language skills.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience; mobile phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience processing samples.
• Certification from a national agency such as AMT, ASCP, or NCCT.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• Proof of first shot of Covid-19 Vaccine by 30 days of employment.
• Bonus: Fluent in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients in their home or office, drive to and from appointments in your own vehicle.
• Process specimens with a centrifuge and drop samples off at patient service centers or laboratories.
• Follow safe and accurate blood collection procedures with high accuracy.
• Maintain close communication with the operations and patient experience team during business hours.
• Confirm availability weekly with your leader for the coming weeks.
• Schedule shifts based on availability; can be up to 29 hours per week.
