Job summary

Premise Health, via its eHealthScreenings unit, seeks Health Screeners in Falmouth, ME to perform biometric screenings at client sites. The role is PRN, event-based, with morning availability Monday–Friday. You will collect samples, record results, and ensure smooth operations at events.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma/GED and relevant phlebotomy certification, strong customer service, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly.

• Must be available for morning events (M-F).
• Pass a full background check and maintain logs per policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric testing (height, weight, BP, BMI).
• Conduct fingerstick and venipuncture blood draws.
• Prepare specimens for storage/processing.
• Set up/break down portable biometric stations.
• Transport supplies to/from events (up to 20 lbs).
• Maintain logs for laboratory transactions and regulatory compliance.

We are currently seeking Health Screeners to join our team in Falmouth, ME.

eHealthScreenings, a Premise Health Company, specializes in national biometric screenings and we have exciting opportunities for Mobile Phlebotomists and Health Screeners.

About the role: These positions are as-needed opportunities and offer flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. We send you out to local companies within your area to perform health screenings for the employees of the companies.

What would make you successful in this role? Strong customer service skills, previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience, ability to use a manual blood pressure cuff, tech savvy and excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI (Body Mass Index)
• Blood testing including fingerstick and / or venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
• Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processing
• Set up and break down portable blood draw / biometric station(s)
• May need to transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.)
• Maintains the logs and records for all Laboratory transactions and information in accordance with department and regulatory requirements
• Must have morning availability (Monday-Friday) for event-based employment
• May require other duties as assigned

Education

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required
• Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR one of the following:
• Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands-on externship completed
• Over 100 successful fingersticks within the last year or a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture blood draws within the last 6 months
• Active state specific Phlebotomy certification is required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA WA, and LA

Experience

• 1 year of experience of Health Screening or Phlebotomy experience preferred
