Job summary

Premise Health's eHealthScreenings team is hiring Health Screeners to support biometric screenings at client sites across the United States. This PRN, event-based role offers flexible scheduling, morning availability on weekdays, and competitive pay for mobile phlebotomy and health screening tasks.

You will perform measurements and blood draws, maintain accurate records, and travel to local corporate events.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health–approved organization OR hands-on externship with evidence of 100 fingersticks or 200 venipunctures.
• Active state-specific Phlebotomy certification is required for NV, CA, WA, and LA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biometric health screenings (height, weight, BP, BMI) and record results.
• Perform fingerstick and venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare specimens for storage or further processing.
• Set up and break down portable biometric stations.
• Transport supplies to screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs).
• Maintain logs and records in compliance with department and regulatory requirements.
• Must have morning availability (Mon–Fri) for event-based work.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

About The Role

These positions are as-needed opportunities and offer flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. We send you out to local companies within your area to perform health screenings for the employees of those companies.

What Would Make You Successful in This Role?

Strong customer service skills, previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience, ability to use a manual blood pressure cuff, tech savvy, and excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to, height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI (Body Mass Index)
• Blood testing including fingerstick and/or venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
• Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processing
• Set up and break down portable blood draw/biometric station(s)
• May need to transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.)
• Maintain logs and records for all laboratory transactions and information in accordance with department and regulatory requirements
• Must have morning availability (Monday–Friday) for event-based employment
• May perform other duties as assigned

Education

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required
• Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health–approved organization OR one of the following:
• Certificate/Diploma and transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands-on externship completed
• Over 100 successful fingersticks within the last year or a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture blood draws within the last 6 months
• Active state-specific Phlebotomy certification is required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA, WA, and LA

Experience

• One (1) year of health screening or phlebotomy experience preferred
