Job summary

Diagnostic Laboratories & Radiology in Texas seeks a Mobile Phlebotomist to provide clinical pre-analytical services at client sites, primarily nursing homes. You will complete routes safely and on time, following all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include driving to facilities, collecting and labeling specimens, maintaining records, and adhering to universal precautions. A valid State phlebotomy license (if required) and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid State phlebotomy license (if required).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle in good working condition.
• Excellent communication and interaction with diverse populations (pediatric/geriatric).
• Demonstrate regular attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client facilities (mostly nursing homes) as directed by dispatcher.
• Unload phlebotomy tray and collect specimens at patient bedside as ordered.
• Identify patients accurately before sample collection.
• Label, process and deliver specimens to the required destination.
