Job summary

American Health Associates is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist in Akron to provide home-based blood collection. You will travel to patient homes across Akron, perform venipuncture, verify identities, and document results with care and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience.
• Excellent venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to travel to patient homes across Akron, OH.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes across Akron, OH.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection.
• Verify patient identification and proper specimen labeling.
• Provide compassionate service to elderly patients and coordinate with Care At Home team.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with team when unable to complete assignment.
