American Health Associates invites applications for a Mobile Phlebotomist to perform home draws in Akron, OH. This part-time role offers flexible schedules and the independence of working in patients' homes as part of a growing Home Draw team.

You will collect blood samples, verify identities, and document results while collaborating with the Care At Home team to ensure quality and safety. A phlebotomy certification is preferred, with 3+ years in Home Draws highlighted.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience with elderly patients considered a plus.
• Home Draws requires at least 3 years of phlebotomy work experience; additional credentialing may be required.
• Reliable transportation with valid license and auto insurance; clean background as applicable.

Responsabilités

• Travel to patient homes across Akron, OH.
• Provide courtesy call to patient prior to appointment and confirm ETA.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Verify patient identity and ensure correct labeling, transport and integrity.
• Offer professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and partners.
• Complete documentation and coordinate with Care At Home team when needed.
