Job summary

American Health Associates is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to serve Cadiz, Ohio, with part-time and flexible schedules, delivering laboratory services directly to patients at homes and in facilities.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, confirm patient identity, and ensure proper documentation and specimen transport. Certification is preferred, with experience in home visits and elderly patient care valued.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100).
• Clean criminal history; background checks may apply for direct patient care positions.
• Home Draws: minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy work experience required; credentialing may be required before working on Home Draw team.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing facilities, and other healthcare locations in Cadiz, OH.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling, integrity, and transport of specimens.
• Provide compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners.
• Complete documentation and coordinate with laboratory staff and facilities.
