American Health Associates, the nation’s largest clinical laboratory, is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to serve Northeast Ohio by visiting patient homes, SNFs, and assisted living communities.

You will perform venipuncture, ensure accurate specimen labeling, and provide compassionate care to elderly patients while maintaining thorough documentation.

This part-time role offers flexible schedules, mileage reimbursement, and the stability of a large network.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes and healthcare facilities to collect blood specimens.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary collection with elder patients.
• Verify patient identity, label specimens, and ensure proper transport.
• Complete documentation and communicate with lab and facility staff.
