Job summary

American Health Associates, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to visit patient homes and healthcare facilities across Grand Rapids, MI, collecting blood specimens and performing venipuncture with compassion for diverse patient groups.

You will verify patient identities, label specimens, and ensure proper transport and documentation, while maintaining high-quality patient care. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and age 21+.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Northeast Ohio.
• Collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility staff.
