Job summary

OneBlood in Deland, Florida is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collection on our mobile unit and fixed sites, following FDA and AABB standards. You will work to ensure donor safety and comfort while recording procedures accurately.

Responsibilities include obtaining donor history and vitals, performing phlebotomy, delivering excellent customer service, and assisting with donor recruitment when needed.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy knowledge and donor interaction.
• Ability to obtain medical history and vitals.
• Proficient in basic computer tasks (MS Office).
• Strong customer service and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical history and vitals from donors and/or patients
• Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood or blood components
• Displays excellent customer service and professionalism towards all customers
• Assists with the recruitment of potential apheresis and bone marrow donors
