Job summary

OneBlood in Orlando, FL is seeking a phlebotomist to perform blood collection from donors in accordance with FDA regulations and AABB standards. You will obtain medical history and vitals, conduct phlebotomy procedures, and deliver courteous, professional service to all donors.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong reading and communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a mobile unit environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow safety instructions.
• English language literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical history and vitals from donors and/or patients.
• Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood or blood components.
• Displays excellent customer service and professionalism towards all customers.
• Assists with the recruitment of potential apheresis, and bone marrow donors.
