Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent required per state regulations.
• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on location and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Specimen collection with correct patient and specimen identification.
• Enter and verify patient demographics, tests requested, and billing data.
• Label, aliquot, and transport specimens to the appropriate area.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards; support Six Sigma initiatives.
• Provide courteous client service and work across multiple locations as needed.
