Job description

APPS Paramedical is looking for part-time contractors in Winter Garden, Clermont, Apopka, Windermere, and Central Florida to conduct in-home life insurance medical screening exams.

The Orlando (Florida) office covers these counties, with examiners covering their local areas.

You would be able to cover one or multiple of these areas based on your zip code:

1. Sorrento
2. Mt Dora
3. Eustis/Tavares
4. Umatilla
5. Apopka

Requirements:

1. Reliable transportation
2. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not necessary in Seminole County, Orange County, Lady Lake County, Broward County, and Osceola County
3. Examiners must be verifiably trained in phlebotomy and EKG
4. Computer literate
5. Have all the necessary tools for the job (BP cuff, stethoscope, home computer with printer, smartphone, and tablet)

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct medical questionnaires
2. Measure height, weight, BP, and perform blood/urine collection, EKG, or any combination of these
3. Process specimens and paperwork in a HIPAA compliant manner

My office can assist with obtaining an inexpensive centrifuge and EKG machine, as well as a tablet. Examiners can expect to earn between $100 and $500 weekly with about 12-32 hours a week (hours worked are somewhat flexible). No sales; clients are provided.
