Job summary

Mobile Wellness Solutions is seeking an experienced phlebotomist to travel to specific locations in Muskegon Heights, Michigan. The role involves gathering samples, obtaining patient vitals, and maintaining accurate medical records.

The ideal candidate must have proven experience as a phlebotomist, a valid driver's license, and excellent communication skills. This position is paid per appointment/event, and some travel expenses may be reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Label all samples accurately.

Job Details

• The candidate/phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining vitals, drawing blood, urine, EKG, and medical history.
• Paid per appointment/event, this is not an hourly or salary‑paid position.
• Bi‑weekly Pay.
• Some travel expenses are covered depending on the location of the appointment.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples as required.
• Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
• Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities.
• Obtaining vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.
• Accurately labeling all samples.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, including detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experienced phlebotomist.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills.
• Knowledge regarding HIPAA/PHI law.
• Detail‑oriented/sound organizational skills.
• Professional, responsible, and self‑starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
