Job summary

PillPack is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support both kiosk management and in-pharmacy operations. You will drive between pharmacy locations and remote kiosk sites, refill kiosks, and help prepare orders for shipment.

The role blends on-the-road independence with teamwork in the pharmacy and requires careful handling of medications. Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists, ensuring correct meds in orders, and maintaining equipment and work areas.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of working with computer and web-based tools.
• Valid and active driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor.
• Ability to read and understand English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labels.
• Clean driving record that passes Amazon's MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to remote Kiosk locations with a company vehicle.
• Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication, paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory.
• Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.
• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items as permitted by state board.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures and regulations.
• Work daily with Leadership to ensure correct medications in orders.
• Run automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.
• Fill exception trays with appropriate medication.
• Transition orders through workflow stages from dispense to quality control.
• Count and label prescription vials for bulk items.
• Pack and ship completed orders with appropriate labels.
• Sort and triage boxes for timely shipping.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, packing.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in the pharmacy.
• Package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Work a flexible schedule with shifts possibly outside normal hours.
