Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician in California to manage both kiosk operations and in-pharmacy tasks. You will drive between Pharmacy locations and remote Kiosk sites, refill kiosks, prepare shipments, and assist pharmacists in dispensing orders.

The role blends field responsibilities with daily pharmacy teamwork, requires lifting up to 49 lbs and adaptable hours. Candidates should hold an active tech license, national certification, a high school diploma, and basic computer

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment.
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
High school diploma or equivalent.
6+ months of working with computer and web based tools experience.
Valid and active driver's license.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor.
Ability to read and understand English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labels.

Responsibilities

Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company provided vehicle.
Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication, paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory for return.
Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.
Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items.
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Work daily with Leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right orders.
Run automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medications.
Fill exception trays with appropriate medication.
Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control.
Count and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription items.
Package medications for dispensing and for delivery.
Sort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right time.
Aid the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing.
Clean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas within the pharmacy.

Work a flexible schedule - shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal site business hours.
