Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician in Chester, VA to support both kiosk operations and in-pharmacy workflows. You will drive between pharmacy and remote kiosk locations, refill kiosks, prepare shipments, and assist pharmacists with prescriptions while ensuring safety and accuracy.

The role requires an active Pharmacy Technician license, national certification, a high school diploma, and 6+ months of computer experience.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of experience with computer and web-based tools.
• Valid and active driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor.
• Ability to read and understand English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labels.

Responsibilities

• Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company-provided vehicle.
• Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication, paper, and clean machines; collect discarded inventory for return.
• Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.
• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items as permitted by state board.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy per procedures and regulations.
• Coordinate with Leadership to ensure correct medications in orders.
• Operate automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.
• Fill exception trays with appropriate medication.
• Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through workflow stages from dispense to QA.
• Count and label prescription vials and attach labels to bulk items.
• Pack and ship completed orders; print and attach labels.
• Sort and route boxes to ship on time.
• Aid Pharmacy Manager and staff with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in the pharmacy.
• Package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Work a flexible schedule; shifts may start/end outside normal hours.
