Job summary

MATClinics is seeking a Mobile Peer Recovery Specialist to operate a 35’ Mobile Treatment Unit across Dundalk, MD and nearby sites. You will provide trauma-informed peer support, assist with intake, and help coordinate housing, meals, and MAT programs.

Ideal candidates bring lived recovery experience, peer certification, and strong de-escalation and communication skills, with ability to travel and work varied hours as patient needs require.

Qualifications

• Lived recovery experience or equivalent peer support background.
• Trauma-informed care mindset with de-escalation skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and basic office tech.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate MATClinics’ 35’ Mobile Treatment Unit (MTU) across designated sites.
• Perform MTU site operations: leveling, wiring/generator checks, HVAC, interior sanitation.
• Greet patients on-site, build trust, and maintain a low-stigma environment.
