Job summary

Baltimore Crisis Response, Inc. (BCRI) seeks a Peer Recovery Specialist for CarePoint’s Mobile Response Team in Baltimore. You will respond in the community in two-person teams to support individuals in behavioral health crises, collaborating with clinicians and partners to guide recovery and connect to resources.

You will develop crisis plans, link to care, empower self-advocacy, and document interactions promptly. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Respond in the community in teams of two to support individuals in behavioral health or substance use crises.
Collaborate with clinicians, peers, and community partners to support crisis recovery.
Develop crisis plans, link to care, and provide recovery tools before the first engagement concludes.
Facilitate engagement to ensure individuals feel welcome, safe, and supported.
Connect individuals to behavioral health, substance use, peer recovery, and community resources.
Document interactions accurately and promptly; act as liaison with stakeholders as needed.
