Job summary

Hawthorne Health is seeking a travel-based Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to visit patient homes and perform echocardiograms for adults and children, ensuring accurate labeling for cardiology review.

You will transport portable ultrasound equipment, explain procedures, obtain informed cooperation, monitor patient comfort, and adhere to ASE standards and sponsor guidelines in field settings.

Qualifications

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentials (RDCS or RCS) as specified.
• AE certification required; PE certification not required but a plus.
• 3+ years of recent sonography experience in both adult and pediatrics.
• BLS certification.

• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment

WHAT YOU BRING | REQUIREMENTS

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer(RDCS)from ARDMS,or Registered Cardiac Sonographer(RCS)from CCI.

• Certification in Adult (AE) is required, Pediatric (PE) certification not required but a plus

• 3+ years of recent sonography experience,in both adult and pediatrics

• Basic Life Support(BLS)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally/regionally

• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet required; Tech savvy andself sufficientwith digital tools

• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings

• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner

• Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments

• Time management and organizational skills

$450 - $600 a day

Rate of pay is per visit, not per day.
