Titan Security Group is hiring Security Officers for a mobile patrol position in Wayne, Michigan. Shifts vary, with days and afternoons; you will coordinate with monitoring and law enforcement to maintain secure premises.

Requirements include 18+, relevant security/customer service experience, ability to pass background/drug screens, and first aid/CPR/AED certifications. The role emphasizes de-escalation, clear reporting, and strong communication.

Qualificações

• Experience in door staff, receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant roles.
• Able to obtain Illinois PERC and complete state training requirements.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to perform physical duties (lifting 50+ lbs, patrols, stairs, inclement weather).
• Customer service orientation.
• First aid, CPR, and AED certification.
• De-escalation Training, CPI.
• Defensive Tactics training.

Responsabilidades

• Act as liaison with security monitoring company, law enforcement, and fire officials during alarms.
• Assist law enforcement and client employees in handling absconders and disruptive individuals to maintain safety.
• Recognize dangerous conditions and respond appropriately.
• Initiate and render first aid in emergencies.
• Summon emergency services when necessary.
• Carry a cellular phone on duty for emergency communication.
• Provide daily incident summaries and detailed reports to the client via email.
• Complete all required forms and documentation.
• Interact courteously with employees, visitors, and the public.
• Provide clear directions and guide visitors as needed.
• Follow oral and written instructions and coach others on procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of general safety and fire prevention.

Titan Security Group is currently hiring Security Officers to work at a location in Wayne, Michigan.

This position is a Mobile Patrol Position. Schedules vary but primary consist of days and afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison with the security monitoring company, law enforcement, and/or fire officials in responding to alarm situations when necessary.
• Assist law enforcement personnel and client employees in apprehending absconders and handling unruly and/or violent individuals on the premises to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Recognize dangerous conditions on buildings and grounds and respond appropriately.
• Initiate and render first aid assistance in emergency situations involving injury or illness to members, employees, volunteers, or visitors.
• Summon emergency fire, ambulance, or medical services when necessary.
• Carry a functional cellular phone at all times while on duty for emergency communication.
• Act as liaison with the security monitoring company, law enforcement, and/or fire officials in responding to alarm situations when necessary.

• Utilize strong communication skills to de-escalate and mediate confrontational or tense situations.
• Provide daily incident summaries and detailed incident reports to the client via email, as required.
• Prepare clear, concise, complete, legible, and factual written reports.
• Complete all necessary forms and documentation provided by the entity.
• Meet and interact courteously and effectively with employees, visitors, and the general public.
• Route or guide visitors to conference rooms or other designated areas as needed.
• Give clear verbal directions and instructions to agency personnel, visitors, and other tenants.
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions; provide guidance to others on rules, duties, and procedures.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of general safety precautions and fire prevention methods.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
