Job summary

Titan Security Group in Detroit is hiring Mobile Patrol Security Officers to work at a location near the Southwest Detroit area. The role offers starting pay and benefits with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include patrolling on foot and by vehicle, assisting customers, controlling access, monitoring cameras, logging incidents, and responding to emergencies as needed. A drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and performing patrols and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist with directions and information.
• Conduct patrols on foot and by vehicle to detect security issues.
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor cameras and patrol to deter theft and maintain safety.
• Maintain logs of people and properties, including packages.
• Respond to incidents and document actions taken.
• Other duties as assigned.

Titan Security is currently hiring Mobile Patrol Security Officers to work at a location near the Southwest Detroit area.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Conduct general patrols on foot and within a vehicle to check for security violations like unsafe conditions or unauthorized persons
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a Valid Driver's License
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 75 lbs, completing foot patrols, sitting, standing, walking, driving for a significant period of time, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a security officer
• Bi-lingual considered a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
