Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in San Jose, CA. You will serve and safeguard clients across residential locations, maintaining a visible presence and delivering exceptional customer service while patrolling and monitoring access points.

This role offers flexible day-time schedules and a $24.45 per hour pay rate with opportunities to grow through our Shift-claim platform.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state of the position.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter security-related activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, resident, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
