Job summary

Allied Universal in San Jose, CA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Observation Patrol to provide visible security, access control, and patient/visitor support at a healthcare facility. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform and earn supplemental income while gaining hands-on security experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts, and report suspicious behavior to site leadership.
Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.
