Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Mobile Assistance Vehicle Technician to provide transportation for non-emergency patients, including wheelchair assistance, in a professional and safe manner. You will document transport details clearly and work with hospital staff to ensure patient needs are met under varying conditions.

Responsibilities include customer-friendly communication, accurate driving tasks, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare/medical emergency or related field preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff; maintain professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Transport non-emergency patients, including use of wheelchairs, safely and accurately.
• Complete transportation documentation clearly and promptly.
• Explain procedures and answer routine questions; establish rapport with patients and families.
• Maintain professionalism and teamwork with hospital and facility staff; support performance improvement efforts.
