Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accredit CBOC locations in compliance with ABC rules and regulations.
• Manage budget, inventory, and resources; oversee orthotic/prosthetic schedule; set short- and long-range goals per local/VISN/VHA direction; conduct quality assurance.
• Attend interdisciplinary orthotic and prosthetic clinics; participate as a team member to influence treatment plans for complex cases.
• Develop and review prosthetics requests daily; coordinate with scheduling; understand federal acquisition regulations when referring Veterans to external partners.
• Oversee fitters/technicians as assigned; provide educational in-services to medical groups; work schedule 7:00am-5:30pm Mon-Thu; no telework.
