Job summary

Veterans Health Administration is seeking a highly qualified Orthotist/Prosthetist to join the Mobile Prosthetics & Orthotic Clinic (MoPOC) within the Orthotics & Prosthetics Lab. The role involves traveling to satellite clinics and veterans' homes to provide clinical care in a mobile laboratory setting.

Candidate must have ABC or BOC certification, a qualifying orthotics/prosthetics degree, and a current driver's license.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required; English proficiency required.
• Education: degree in orthotics/prosthetics per CAAHEP or equivalent with certificate.
• Board certification by ABC or BOC required.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams for complex cases.
• Communicate with physicians, allied health professionals, patients and caregivers.
• Stay current with new technologies in orthotics and prosthetics and provide training.
