Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a licensed orthotist/prosthetist to serve in the Mobile Prosthetics & Orthotic Clinic (MoPOC) as part of the Orthotics & Prosthetics Lab in the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Service.

The position requires travel to satellite clinics and veterans' homes to deliver clinical care using a specialized mobile laboratory. Candidates must be licensed and board certified (ABC or BOC) with a degree in orthotics/prosthetics from a CAAHEP-accredited

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in orthotics and prosthetics from a CAAHEP-accredited program is required.
• Board certification by ABC or BOC with ongoing CE requirements.
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for security/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Travel to satellite clinics and veterans' homes providing clinical care via a mobile laboratory.
• Collaborate with physicians and rehab teams to develop treatment plans.
• Serve as a full member of the MoPOC clinical team within the Orthotics & Prosthetics Lab.
