Job summary

Eyetastic Services is a mobile eye care practice delivering eye exams and related services to nursing facilities across Brooklyn and NYC. Optometrists meet residents where they are, using portable tech for comprehensive exams and tailored care.

The role offers flexible 3–5 days per week, with compensation between $800 and $1,000 per day for ~5–6 hours of work. Travel is reimbursed, and there is support staff to assist with daily tasks.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited optometry school.
• Licensed in the state or in the process of obtaining licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams, including refractions, glaucoma screenings, and retinal evaluations.
• Provide mobile eye care at up to two nursing facilities per day.
• Collaborate with optometric assistants and ophthalmologists.
• Assist with scheduling and follow-up care using the company's platform.

Education

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree

Valid state optometry license
