Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking an Optometrist to work on-site across Flint/Saginaw, MI, with both part-time and full-time options (2–5 days per week). The role includes a generous compensation package, mileage reimbursement, and a no-quotas patient base.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.) is required.
• State professional license is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• TPA certified/Legend Drug Certificate.
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use email, the Internet and to learn other healthcare related software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat refractive disorders.
• Diagnose and treat ocular disorders caused by age-related illnesses.
• Examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, injuries and disorders of the visual system.
• Identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enter patient information and complete required clinical documentation in the EMR system.
• Mobile model treatment of patients requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
