Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking an Optometrist to cover the greater Cincinnati-Dayton, OH area on a part-time or full-time basis (2-4 days per week). The role involves on-site care at nursing homes and facilities with a flexible schedule and no evening or weekend hours.

Expect an uncapped earning potential with production-based pay and a $625 daily minimum, plus an $8k sign-on bonus for 4 days per week.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.) required.
• State professional license required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• TPA certified/Legend Drug Certificate required.
• Ability to work independently daily.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use email, internet and to learn healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Provide general optometry services to nursing homes and facilities.
• Diagnose and treat refractive and ocular disorders.
• Examine, diagnose, treat and manage diseases of the eye and related structures.
• Identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enter patient information and complete clinical documentation in EMR.
• Mobile daily travel to facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
