Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking an Optometrist to join our team in Greensboro, NC and the surrounding area. You may work Part-Time or Full-Time (up to 5 days per week) and will provide exams and optometry services to residents of nursing homes and long-term care facilities in a mobile setting.

The role offers an established patient base, 100% malpractice coverage, full administrative support, and a sign-on bonus of $15,000 (prorated).

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry (OD) is required.
• State professional license is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• TPA certified is required.
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficient with email and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Provide general optometry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory.
• Diagnose and treat refractive and age-related ocular disorders.
• Examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases of the visual system and eye.
• Document patient information in the EMR system.
• Travel daily to Skilled Nursing Facilities for mobile care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
