HealthDrive Corporation seeks an Optometrist to work in Greensboro, NC, offering Part-Time or Full-Time positions with daily travel to nursing facilities. Enjoy flexible schedules, no evening or weekend hours, and an established patient base with 100% malpractice coverage and strong administrative support.

Current NC Optometry license is required. Mileage reimbursement and comprehensive benefits are available for full-time providers.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.)
• State professional license
• Valid driver’s license
• TPA certified
• Ability to work independently daily
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to use email, the internet and to learn other healthcare related software.

Responsibilities

• Provide general optometry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory.
• Diagnose and treat refractive disorders.
• Diagnose and treat ocular disorders caused by age-related illnesses.
• Examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, injuries and disorders of the visual system and eye.
• Identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enter patient information and complete clinical documentation in EMR system.
• Daily travel to skilled nursing facilities for mobile care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
