Job summary

HealthDrive Corporation seeks an Optometrist to join the greater Cincinnati, OH area on a part-time or full-time basis (2–4 days/week). A $8,000 sign-on bonus applies for 4 days/week and daily earnings exceed $700, with full benefits for FT staff.

The role offers clinical autonomy, 100% malpractice coverage, mileage reimbursement, and full administrative support, with EMR and laptop provided. Travel to skilled nursing facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.) required.
• State professional license required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• TPA certified/Legend Drug Certificate required.
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use email, the internet and to learn other healthcare related software.

Responsibilities

• Provide general optometry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long term care facilities within an assigned territory.
• Diagnose and treat refractive disorders.
• Diagnose and treat ocular disorders caused by age-related illnesses.
• Examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases of the visual system and eye.
• Identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enter patient information and complete required clinical documentation in EMR.
