Job summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care is seeking a Part-Time Optician in Pueblo, CO. This position offers the chance to provide quality vision care directly to senior citizens while maintaining a consistent schedule of two days per week. Responsibilities include assisting with patient intake and eyewear fittings, as well as maintaining portable optometry equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience as an Optician or Optometric Assistant, a compassionate attitude, and reliable transportation. Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an Optician or Optometric Assistant preferred.
• Medical Assisting experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of OSHA & infection control.

Responsibilities

• Assist the optometrist with patient intake and visual screenings.
• Assist with eyewear selection and fittings.
• Set up and maintain portable optometry equipment.
• Ensure patients feel comfortable and informed.

Skills

Experience as an Optician or Optometric Assistant

Medical Assisting experience

Experience serving geriatric patients

Understanding of OSHA & infection control

Reliable Transportation

Ability to lift/transport equipment (25–50 lbs)
