Comprehensive Mobile Care is hiring a Part-Time Optician for our senior clinic in Montrose/Eckert, CO. This unique role focuses on providing quality vision care directly to seniors who often lack access to optometry.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience, a strong understanding of infection control, and the ability to operate independently in the field. We offer a flexible schedule, competitive pay of $24-$26 per hour, and the fulfillment of making a real impact on the lives of underserved communities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an Optician preferred.
• Able to lift/transport equipment (25–50 lbs).
• Must pass federal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist the optometrist with patient intake and visual screenings.
• Assist with eyewear selection and fittings.
• Set up and maintain portable optometry equipment.
• Follow strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Complete basic documentation and administrative tasks.

Skills

Experience as an Optician or Optometric Technician

Medical assisting experience

Experience serving geriatric patients

Understanding of OSHA & infection control

Reliable transportation
