Job summary

IT&E is seeking an Network-Device Engineering Apprentice to support evaluation testing, conformance, and device performance across mobile-network devices and related equipment. You will work under a journeyman, learn device development lifecycles, and assist with OTA systems and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications include high school diploma and Guam residency, with willingness to pursue certifications like Apple Carrier Development.

Qualifications

Must provide a High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be a US citizen or resident alien.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Must be a resident of Guam for a period not less than three consecutive years before entry into the program.
Must obtain Apple Carrier Development Certification as required by the Company.
Must be able to attend a minimum of two classes per semester while working 40 hours per week with IT&E.

Responsibilities

Assist with coordinating delivery, inventory, and scheduling of test and sample devices from partners for network interoperability and testing.
Assist in performing Network Device Evaluation Testing (NDET) and related tests per 3GPP/GSMA requirements.
Conduct supervised lab, field, and drive testing to support conformance, acceptance, benchmarking, and validation.
Support regression and non-regression testing related to network maintenance and features.
Maintain accurate records of test devices, results, inventory, and documentation.
Assist with auditing and coordination of FCC-related programs and regulatory compliance.
