Job summary

MedQuest Imaging, a trusted partner of Novant Health, seeks a Registered Technical Assistant to join a growing Mobile MRI Team. The role combines patient care, teamwork, and travel across the region to support imaging operations at multiple facilities.

The position emphasizes assisting the technologist, preparing patients, performing IVs, and coordinating with radiology staff in a dynamic mobile healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Phlebotomy, CMA (AAMA/NHA), RMA (AMT/ARMA), or ARRT registration in R/MR/CT/M is required.
• Patient care experience including venipuncture is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients prior to exam.
• Assist patient in completing electronic paperwork.
• Obtain medical history from the patient.
• Escort patient to changing room and ensure proper attire.
• Escort patients to and from the mobile MRI or exam room.
• Assist Technologist with MRI table preparation (coil, linens, etc).
• Start and remove IVs.
• Coordinate with Radiologist by obtaining reports/images; liaison between Technologist and Radiologist.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
