Job summary

MedQuest Imaging, a patient-focused imaging center in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks a Registered Technical Assistant PRN to support Technologists and Radiologists across mobile MRI exams. This role ensures patients are prepared for exams, assists with IVs, and helps maintain workflow in a supportive outpatient setting.

The position is PRN, with responsibilities including patient screening, history collection, and cooperation with radiology staff to deliver high-quality imaging services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or CMA/RMA/ARRT (R/MR/CT/M) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients prior to exam.
• Assist patient in completing electronic paperwork.
• Obtain medical history from patient.
• Escort to changing room and exam area.
• Escort patients to mobile MRI or exam room.
• Assist Technologist in preparing MRI table.
• Start and remove IVs.
• Research availability and obtain reports/images requested by Radiologist.
• Serve as liaison between Technologist and Radiologist.
• Other duties as assigned.
