Job summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking a Mobile MRI Tech (Float) to perform MRI imaging, operate equipment, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images across sites in Roanoke and surrounding areas. This part-time role requires ARRT MRI certification and BLS.

You’ll work three days weekly, with shifts 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., and you may float to Franklin, Rockbridge, NRV. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and benefits accompany employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; approved Radiologic Technology program graduate preferred.
• ARRT MRI certification or eligibility required; BLS-HCP required.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and float to multiple sites.
• Strong interpersonal and technical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures and operate MRI equipment.
• Acquire high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Perform IV contrast injections and related patient care tasks.
• Handle patient scheduling, registration, and chart/file processing as needed.
• Maintain MRI registry and CEUs to meet accreditation.
