Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is hiring a Mobile MR Technologist to support diagnostic imaging across Western North Carolina. You will travel with the MR truck, prepare patients, and safely operate MRI equipment to obtain quality diagnostic scans.

The role requires ARRT MR certification, current MR credentials, and a high school diploma or GED. A 1+ year MR experience is preferred, with opportunities to work at multiple sites and benefit from competitive pay and shift options.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required
• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program required
• 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred

This role will support mobile operations in Western North Carolina, including in Polk County and at Novant Health Biltmore Avenue (formerly Open MRI & Imaging of Asheville).

Responsibilities

The Mobile MR Technologist travels with the mobile MRI truck and assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School or GED required


• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program required


• 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum of one year of experience in MR required

License/Certification

• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) required


• IV Credentialed required


• Applicable state license required
